Chudleigh’s is a commercial bakery supplying delicious deserts for customers across North America. From their start, they have made apple pies, baking them from scratch on their family farm, and things grew from there. Leading to their philosophy “Desserts are what we make at Chudleigh’s, but bliss is why we do it.”
Enviro-Stewards and Chudleigh’s have been working together for 1½ decades. Chudleigh’s originally helped 5 families in Kajo Keji County, South Sudan to gain access to safe water. And more recently, Chudleigh’s has helped 10 additional families through the Cup for Cup water replenishment program. These 10 water purifiers are sufficient to replenish all of the potable water used by the pie factory to produce caramel apple blossom pies (like those on the Old Spaghetti Factory menu) by ensuring that an equivalent amount of water is purified where it is needed.
A family helped through SWSV sponsorship to purchase a safe water purifier for their household in Uganda.
